The following Sears Island-related documents were obtained from Dept of Economic & Community Development Commissioner Jack Cashman's office via the Maine Freedom of Access Law. They illustrate some of the behind-the-scenes maneuvering that the Baldacci Administration is making to try to facilitate selling all or part of Sears Island in upper Penobscot Bay to an unnamed liquid natural gas company .
